Dr. Jonathan Levine, DVM, USDA Accredited

Dr. LevineOriginally from Long Island, I moved to California to pursue a degree from Stanford University in applied mathematics. While working in business, I shadowed a family friend who was a veterinarian and fell in love with the profession. I was instantly drawn to the role we played in helping enrich the human-animal bond.

I stayed in California and earned my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, while also serving as co-president of my class. Upon graduation, I returned home to further my training by completing a one year internship in Companion Animal Medicine and Surgery at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners.

In 2014 I relocated to New York City where I continued to practice small animal medicine before joining the staff at Worth Street Veterinary Center. I was inspired by Worth Streets integrative approach to veterinary medicine that partners with owners to provide top quality medicine to their patients. My special interests include emergency medicine, endocrinology, surgery, and dermatology.

When not at work, I love exercising by playing a variety of racket sports, and exploring the city. I am excited to be part of Worth Street Veterinary Center's skilled team and look forward to working with you and your pets soon!
