Following my older sister’s footsteps into a career in science, I found the role of veterinarian to match my compassion for animals, meticulous attention to detail, and general enjoyment of working with people. In pursuit of this goal, I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Southern California, and went on to attend veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania.

Following graduation from vet school, I completed a competitive and challenging rotating internship in Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency at the Animal Medical Center on the Upper East Side. Exposure to a high volume caseload under the direction of specialists, I gained valuable experience diagnosing and treating complex diseases. With a desire to continue to retain and reinforce my emergency skills I went on to practice in an urgent care setting.

Though I’ve loved the fast pace of urgent and emergent care, and the complexity of hospitalized care, I quickly came to realize that my greatest fulfillment was getting to know my clients and their pets. After having shadowed at Worth Street prior to veterinary school, I saw how each doctor made it their mission to provide the highest quality of care while also treating the doctor-client-patient relationship as a partnership. I am excited to return as a part of the WSVC doctor team, and to develop effective care plans for your pets, tailored to their lifestyles and individual needs.

When outside of the clinic, I can be found whipping around on a Citi Bike (not sponsored), trying new restaurants, catching a stand-up show, and spending time with friends.
