Connie Carbonell, DVM

I recently moved to Manhattan from Charlottesville, Virginia, where I practiced at a small-animal general practice. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, I earned both my undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Florida, where my passion for animal care first took root.
I’m thrilled to be part of the team at Worth Street Vet Center, where I deeply connect with the clinic’s commitment to strengthening the human-animal bond. It’s richly rewarding to be able to support both pets and their owners through every stage of life. My particular interests in veterinary medicine lie in dentistry and soft tissue surgery, but I also enjoy preventative and geriatric care.
Outside of work, I can be found walking my three dogs—Linus, Charles, and Turbo—through Central Park, crocheting, or trying out new restaurants around the city. My two older dogs are named after characters from the Peanuts gang, and they keep me on my toes! I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the team at Worth Street Veterinary Center and look forward to meeting you and your pet soon!
