Before pursuing my veterinary degree, I earned my BA in English and Anthropology from Columbia University and spent the first five years of my career working in human resources. Throughout that time, I volunteered at several local animal shelters where I discovered a deep passion for animal care and health. I fell in love with the joy and fulfillment that came from helping animals and ultimately elected to pivot my career toward veterinary medicine.
After earning my veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, I completed a rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group (VERG) in Brooklyn, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in various aspects of veterinary care and taking a special interest in soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography. Worth Street Vet’s emphasis on providing high quality, compassionate care aligned with my focus on building strong client relationships, making the decision to continue my career at WSVC an easy one. My journey into veterinary medicine has been richly rewarding, and I’m committed to making a positive impact in the lives of my patients and their families.
When I’m not at the clinic, you can find me exploring Brooklyn with my husband and our loveable, scruffy rescue dog, Otto. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
